Dr. Trish Hernacki, a licensed optometrist, has lived in 5 different states but considers Montana her favorite. She spent most of her childhood in Kentucky and Indiana but graduated high school in Spokane, WA. She first found her love for Helena at Carroll College, where she was a cheerleader for the Fighting Saints all four years and graduated with Honors in Biology. She moved back to the Midwest to attend Indiana University School of Optometry where she completed her Doctor of Optometry degree as part of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and was awarded the Gold Key for outstanding community service. After graduation, she went on to complete a primary care residency with emphasis in specialty contact lenses with Ossip Optometry in Indianapolis, Indiana. After almost 7 years of private practice in Indiana, Dr. Hernacki returned to Helena to be closer to her family in Spokane and take advantage of the abundant recreational opportunities the area provides.
In her spare time, Dr. Hernacki loves road/trail running, lifting weights and wrangling her three dogs. She is also an avid knitter and crocheter who occasionally writes patterns for publication. Dr. Hernacki looks forward to providing exceptional optometric care to the Helena community.
